Fantastic, I was playing ‘try to guess the song’ with the guy sat next to me! We did get most of them right and there are a few artists there to check out – what a great idea 🙂
Caught your show in Norwich, courtesy of Mr. Bob Harris! Really enjoyed it, wonderful to meet and hear a true songwriter. 🙂 smiling for days. Oh, BTW take care of your “secret weapon”, hope we hear much more fro her, wonderful to see a talented musician who can support!
See you soon we hope.

Hello Gretchen. Belated thanks to you and Barry for the Paris gig. You may remember my wife Kelly and I from the kinda meh Paris-Mexican food dinner we enjoyed afterwards. I mean the food was meh; the company was wonderful and even Barry the Fish was there. So this is just a word to say how delighted I am that you’ve lent your talents to the music of Mickey Newbury. I was a record shop guy in London when I first heard Frisco Mabel Joy. Then of course Elvis did the American Trilogy. What can one say? Except that your interpretations shed fresh light on these beautiful songs and I thank you. Coming back to Europe soon, I hear? Why not get in touch with Karel again and slip a little Paris gig in for those of us here who love your work very much?
