Tennessean: Country Music Hall of Fame hosts Gretchen Peters

On Saturday afternoon, the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum hosted Gretchen Peters as part of the “Poets and Prophets” interview series it conducts with songwriters who have made “significant contributions to country music history.”

Peters is a 2014 inductee into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame whose songs have been recorded by Martina McBride (“Independence Day”), George Strait (“The Chill of an Early Fall”), Trisha Yearwood (“On a Bus to St. Cloud”), Faith Hill (“The Secret of Life”) and others.
