Recently I wrote a guest column for The Bluegrass Situation – one of the more unusual (and, it turned out, fun) writing assignments I’ve done. The rules: write a short short story using the full lyrics of a song, no omissions, except in the case of repeat choruses, etc. I chose a favorite Paul Simon song.
