
Longtime friends Gretchen Peters, Mary Gauthier and Eliza Gilkyson have written a passel of great songs. The respected singer-songwriters bring distinction and camaraderie to the stage when they join forces for their Three Women and the Truth tour, an evening of music and stories.
“I love them both,” says Peters about her cohorts. “Combined, we have years of accumulated wisdom, mostly the hard way. There’s something about being out with a couple of other women — of an age, let’s say, where we’ve all been there and done that. There’s an ease because we’re all past the potential pitfalls. We’re all honestly fans of one another’s work.”
