Listen to live BBC radio performances from Celtic Connections Festival

There’s a lot going on at Celtic Connections in Glasgow, Scotland this final week of the festival, and yesterday I took part in two live radio broadcasts, for BBC Radio 2 and Radio Scotland. The first show was a live, in-the-round performance which also featured Rhiannon Giddens and the duo of Teddy Thompson and Kelly Jones. I asked Jerry Douglas, who is in Glasgow this week as musical director of CC’s Transatlantic Sessions, to sit in with me, and he was spellbinding as always. You can listen to the show at this link.

Next I hopped over to Radio Scotland to talk with host Ricky Ross and play some songs. We had a great, relaxed chat over a glass of wine – late night radio the way it ought to be! You can hear it all here.

My thanks to Jerry Douglas, Celtic Connections, and to Radio 2 and Radio Scotland for having me on.
